Follow Murray's adventures as his quest to find a new home takes him to many places, including inside garden gloves, a lawnmower, a little girl's room, a cat bed and even a pie plate! Murray sometimes gets scared along the way as he looks at places that are not really fit for a mouse. Watch out for that hot oven, Murray! Will this adorable mouse find a home that's just right for him?
Yes, he will. But not before he explores many interesting places in search of just the right kind of house for a mouse.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Melissa K. Gonville resides in West Chester, PA with her husband, Greg, where they raised two wonderful adult children, Kamryn and Keagan. She is an inclusive business leaders who worked in the financial services industry for 26 years before transitioning to lead a nonprofit that embodies her values and passion.
"Is This a Good House for a Mouse" was written over fifteen years ago after Melissa discovered that a mouse had been living in her car for over a week. Shortly afterward, Greg found mice living in the lawn mower, which led Melissa to wonder where else mice were trying to find a good home in and around their house!
About the Illustrator
Katie Lickfield was born in Unionville, PA. She began her art career at a young age, using her imagination to begin drawing and illustrating for her school. When she graduated from Unionville High School, she studied graphic design and earned her Associate's Degree. She transferred to West Chester University to study Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Studio Art.

Katie is an assistant teacher at a church preschool working with four-year-olds. She loves reading to them and inspiring them with pictures and stories. In her free time, she continues to pursue her passion for the arts, painting and illustrating a children's book.
Every journey has its challenges, but when we're driven by purpose and passion, we find a way to overcome them.
